Born in Sweden in 1938, "Pia"
"Lindström" was the first child of actress Ingrid Bergman and Bergman's first husband, Dr. Aron Petter Lindström , both of whom she abandoned for Italian director Roberto Rossellini creating such a scandal that Bergman was forced to leave the United States in disgrace, only to be welcomed back years later as the star of the movie Anastasia (1956 film), for which she won her second Academy Award.
